| Sunday School- by Ruth Everhart |
|
Here’s a question to consider as we begin summer break:
Is Sunday School worth the classrooms we build to house it?
It may be a provocative question, but I’m serious. If you were designing a church building, what percentage of resources would you allot to build individual classrooms for Sunday School?

| Calvinism and America Today – by Henry Brinton |
|
At times of crisis, we look to our leaders to find just the right words, just the right tone, and just the right insight and wisdom to guide us through the tumult. Yet often, the wisdom has been there all along, if you just know where to look – or rather, when to look. Say, about 500 years ago.

| Why Don’t We Invite? – by MaryAnn McKibben Dana |
|
There’s been some discussion on the NCP Facebook group about evangelism. A “disgruntled disciple” wrote, “Stepping back, my view is that very few (hardly any) congregations in NCP have any stomach for evangelism. They are what they are, they like it, and they are not interested in changing.”
Do you agree?

In the middle of our conversation, he made an unexpected statement: I do not feel good enough to go to heaven.

| Change in Turbulent Times – by John Wimberly |
|
The easiest thing to do is to view the chaos around us as a direct threat to our ministries. While it can be, chaos can also be a once in a lifetime opportunity to make changes that have needed to be made for years, maybe decades.
